The location is undeniably prime, with easy access to the beach and stunning sea views. When considering value for money, some aspects were a bit hit or miss. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were solid touches for unwinding after a day in the sun, but I expected a bit more in terms of ambiance. The sitting area was comfortable enough, but it lacked that warm, inviting feel I often look for in a coastal retreat. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping things tidy, though I found the carpeted floors somewhat dated compared to other modern hotels I've visited. One thing I appreciated was the option for free parking, which made it easy to explore local attractions without extra hassle. While the luxury elements are there, the cost did raise some eyebrows. Zur Altstadt offers a decent experience for beach lovers but weighing the luxury against the pricing could lead you to consider alternative options on the stunning shores of Spain.
